We first looked into adoption in early 2005. After a series of bumps in the road (the difficulties of trying to do an international adoption without an agency, Hurricane Katrina, and lost documents), we took stock and decided to start over, this time with an agency. In early 2006 we chose Wide Horizons for Children and decided on Ethiopia. We received our referral 15 months after we turned in our complete adoption paperwork.
Expect a mixed bag here, with posts on Mose, Ethiopia, our life and travels, and adoption.
