After five and a half months in Cambridge, Massachusetts, we packed up our car–us, two dogs, a cat and Mose–and headed south. New Orleans was our destination, but we took a leisurely trip with stops along the way to see family and friends.

We hit a huge milestone a couple of weeks ago: Mose took his first steps. A little wobbly, yes, but unassisted. We captured the event on video at my Grandma Helanie and Grandpa Lew’s house–something I imagine they’ll be able to lord over the other grandparents for some time to come.
